Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of daycareon.com, the DaycareOn Chrome extension, and the DaycareOn connector for AI assistants (together, the "Service"), operated by DaycareOn ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

The Service

DaycareOn is a directory of licensed and unlicensed childcare programs, compiled from public open-data sources and information submitted directly by daycare providers. For some listings, you can submit an application through DaycareOn, which we forward to the provider; we also offer a browser extension and AI assistant connectors that help you search, track applications, and pre-fill application forms.

Listing accuracy

Most listings are imported from public open-data sources and reflect that source's information at the time it was collected — fees, capacity, intake status, and other details can be outdated or inaccurate, and are not verified by DaycareOn unless a listing is marked as a DaycareOn-verified partner. Always confirm licensing status, availability, and fees directly with the provider before making decisions.

Accounts

You may create a parent account to save a profile and track applications, or an provider account to manage a daycare's listing and waitlist. You're responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure.

Applications

Submitting an application through DaycareOn forwards your information to the relevant daycare provider. DaycareOn is not a party to any enrollment decision, waitlist placement, or agreement between you and the provider, and does not guarantee a response or outcome.

AI assistant connectors

Connecting DaycareOn to Claude, ChatGPT, or another AI assistant is optional and governed by the same account permissions described in our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect at any time from that assistant's own settings.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract listing data outside normal use.
• Submit false or misleading information as a provider or applicant.
• Use the Service to harass, defraud, or misrepresent yourself to providers or families.
• Interfere with or attempt to circumvent the Service's security or access controls.

Intellectual property

The DaycareOn name, logo, and site design are our property. Listing data sourced from public open-data providers remains subject to those providers' own licensing terms where applicable.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that listing information is accurate, complete, or current, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DaycareOn is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including decisions made based on listing information or the outcome of any application.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service, or delete your account, at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects when changes were last made. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
